- Girija Moran in her own words: "I was with Baba Muktananda from 1970 until his death in 1982 and then with the Siddha Yoga organization under Gurumayi, until I left in 1992. In 1996 I moved to a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center where I studied and practiced under Chagdud Rinpoche and Lama Drimed for 12 years. At the end of my time there, a major shift at the retreat center coincided with a shift in my spiritual process and I was led to reconnect with my original lineage in the interests of integration. I moved to an ashram in Australia in the Siddha Yoga tradition in 2008 where I taught meditation. In 2010 I decided to move toward sharing what I had gained in 40 years of spiritual practice and study in a less traditional way. I ended up in Arcata, CA where I have been teaching meditation. When I connected with Voice Dialogue - which Lama Drimed's students had been practicing with him - I wanted to share its revelations with my old Siddha Yoga friends. I wrote this piece for a blog on which I post things aimed at this group. Rather than rewrite it for Christina's site, I am including this preface to explain my background and the motivation for writing this piece."
